Welcome guys I hope you all doing great.
You might be thinking that I have gone crazy by looking at the title. Yeah, I know it's not what we normally hear out there. We normally hear that we must keep focused on our goal always no matter what and so on. But what I think is Goal is overrated and it's demotivational for most people.
Let me explain why.
I know you have a goal we all do. But by constantly just thinking about that goal, you might feel like it's pretty huge for you to accomplish. You look at yourself now, and you will be wondering whether you can achieve that goal which seems so much big and far for you.
So what I want you to know is Goal is not the most important thing, it's the least important thing.
The important thing for you is to have a clear view of the goal and how to accomplish that rather than just getting demotivated by that.
Today I want to share 4 tips or 4 steps through which you can accomplish your goals.
1. Clarity about your goal :
I define clarity in the goal achievement process is knowing what you want and why you want it. Clarity is without a doubt one of the most important elements in the goal achievement journey. Without clarity, we often lose our motivation, forget why we are pursuing a goal, and work without intention. Clarity helps us understand why we are doing all of the hard work to achieve a goal!
2. Planning on how to achieve that goal :
Planning is the process of thinking about the activities required to achieve the desired goal. It is the first and foremost activity to achieve desired results. It involves the creation and maintenance of a plan, such as psychological aspects that require conceptual skills. Planning helps us to be accountable for what we do. Planning helps us decide how best to use our resources (people, time, money, information, equipment) so that they make the most significant contribution to achieving our goal.
I have a tip for you that might help you in planning.
Visualize yourself as to how would you be after achieving that goal. Then try to write down everything you did to achieve that goal.
"The more detailed you can be with your goal, the better"
3. Figure out the daily activities or actions you need to do to achieve that goal :
Now, this might be a bit time-consuming.
Cause in this step I need you to write down every single thing you wanted to do every day which will help you to achieve that goal. It consists of what time you wake up, what will be your normal daily routines, how you would think in your head, how you spend every single hour of a day, and so on. You should write down every single thing which you would do daily to achieve that goal.
4. Wake up every morning and make a plan for that day :
I know that most of you know it is good to make a daily task to hit daily. But how many are you doing that?
Just writing down it isn't enough. You have to finish that task no matter what. Just write down from the top being a top priority to the down.
Other than those 4 steps, these 3 things are important pieces to hit your goal:
1. Direction: Knowing where to go and how to.
2. Action: Start walking in that direction by getting things done.
3. Time: Just wait to reach there.
We can compare this to anything. But for now, let me explain this with weight loss.
Let us say you need to lose some weight.
So Your Direction will be losing let's say 20 pounds in x weeks. So to achieve that what are you going to do?
Let's say you decided to work 4 times per week and knowing everything you take in I mean, Be conscious about everything you consume and removing every food which is bad for your goal.
"Your direction is more important than your Speed"
Now, Action.
Now that you know where to and how to go, All you have to do is start moving your body. You need to take your ass down to take gym and start working out just and you planned.
You have to throw all the crappy food which might affect you to lose weight.
Also, along with all this, you need to go shopping on Sunday or any other day to pick up all the "healthy" food you need to prepare your meals for the whole week.
There is nothing you can do just by thinking you have to take action.
Now that you know your Direction and you started taking Action all you have to do is wait. That brings me to the third point which is Time.
You can't expect to have six-pack abs just after hitting the gym for one week. You have to understand that life doesn't work that way.
No matter what you want to be, You have to work hard for that every single day and wait for your time to come. That's how it works for everyone.
"Consistent daily actions is everything"
So if keep doing hustling for long enough, for like 2, 3, 5, 10 years, 20 years then one day you will wake up and go like " holy shit! I built the life I wanted for myself when I'm x years old because, I headed in the right direction all the time and putting all my efforts, hard work, and patience together I have a life I always wanted"
